From ``no collar``, to ``blue-collar``, further to ``white-collar`` - to the ``gold-collar, and now to the ``plug-in-collar``?!

...or from ``knowledge worker`` to the ``AI worker``?!

<(AI could) create a new class of dispossessed white-collar workers, who risk suffering a similar fate to that of manufacturing workers in the 1980s.>
Din articolul Generative AI set to affect 300mn jobs across major economies

Se știe că Peter Drucker a lansat notiunea de "knowledge worker" - am scris si eu un articol pe tema asta intr-o revista, prin 2003, dar si in contributia mea la lucrarea The Golden Book of Romanian PR, in 2015 ( am scris despre comunicarea interna)
Acum m-am uitat pe Wikipedia (not so proud of such a lame research ) si zice că chiar categoria respectivă a fost numită "gold-collar" workers.

"The term 'knowledge work' appeared in The Landmarks of Tomorrow (1959) by Peter Drucker. Drucker later coined the term 'knowledge worker' in The Effective Executive in 1966. Later, in 1999, he suggested that "the most valuable asset of a 21st-century institution, whether business or non-business, will be its knowledge workers and their productivity."
Well-well, meet the the "AI worker"!
